The FAMILY CARE Virtual Campus is a multilingual online digital platform providing a set of functional and interactive techniques and activities aimed to adult teachers, counsellors, and guidance professionals. The Campus will upskill them to support the validation of competencies acquired by Family Caregivers in non-formal and informal learning through digital badges and micro-credentials. Importantly, it help them to assess their prior knowledge and competences on this matter.

This Virtual Campus on digital validation of competences for Family Caregivers integrates Open Educational Resources and ICT-based educational tools, and functions as a hub for networking, exchange and promotion for stakeholders and target groups.

The Campus, available in English, Greek, Lithuanian, Polish, Spanish and Turkish, provides access to:

• An Online Instructional Guide, aimed to improve digital competences and facilitate interaction with virtual learning environments for adult teachers, counsellors, and guidance professionals
• The FAMILY CARE Training Modules, a structured set of innovative training contents and practical activities to support the validation of competencies acquired by Family Caregivers in non-formal and informal learning through digital badges and micro-credentials
• A complete set of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) on digital validation of competences for Family Caregivers, developed on the basis of the European Framework of Competences on this matter
• A Mobile Assessment App, an online evaluation tool aimed to help adult teachers, counsellors, and guidance professionals to identify their level of competence and related training requirements to efficiently support the digital validation of competences for Family Caregivers
